Printed communication done during my internship at BKN for the 2019/2020 cultural season of Erstein’s municipality in France

Erstein launched a call for tenders asking for a new face for their cultural season’s identity and its printed communication. During my internship at BKN, I was in charge of designing a solution and I was pleased to see that my design was selected by the municipality as their next cultural season’s identity. The brief was to design a communication based on the theme “Build the culture”. I came up with taking the theme literally by displaying key buildings of Erstein, the foundation of the city’s cultural soul. I added a variety of shapes to playfully express the diversity and I used yellow tones for the buildings. This reminds a bit of a gold nugget, and thus associates the culture to a treasure.

The printed communication consisted of a poster, an A6‑size brochure with an agenda of the events, a declination of 4 covers for bimonthly A5-size booklets and a ticket folder.
